A study determining the success and usability of the redesigned onboarding was executed in the Bose Lab with 21 external participants.

Top Findings

  1.  The redesigned onboarding scored an 85 out of 100 on the System Usability Scale (SUS), which is indicative of an extremely positive and successful app experience.

  2. Participants were confident that the onboarding redesign will work in the real world.

  3. Participants reported that they would complete the new onboarding process if they were at home

  4. Adding additional filters to the onboarding flow may improve its accuracy to the real world.
